Danger Zones in head and neck skin surgery

My first surgical anatomy video is live! This material is important for skin surgeons operating in the face and neck, but so much of the teaching material is pages and pages of text, with limited graphics, despite this being a really visual topic.. I hoped to break down the medical research into a short video illustrating the topic with my medical art, to help prepare trainee surgeons for operating in this important area. Excuse the accent haha..

I have tried to get some character and life into the ‘patient’ illustrations, that might stick in a surgeons mind when there’s a real life under their knife.

As a side note, I’ve noticed a massive lack of ethnic diversity in medical graphics, and and have been trying to challenge that with some of my recent works.
